Lesions
Silence a group of neurons, run the same tests, and measure what changes. Cut the Giant Fiber and the escape should slow down, not vanish. Cut the motion cells and the fly should stop turning with the world but keep walking.
What it claims
Switching off cell types in the model matches what happens when they are switched off in real flies.
Learning
No training. The wiring has to do it on its own.

Not built yet
The brain and the simulator behind The Room already work. This experiment needs its own world and its own test. The code is open if you want to build it.
